Delivery Genoa-Valletta

4 Days / October 7-11, 2025
Delivery Genoa-Valletta image

Discover the Beauty of the Mediterranean with an Exclusive 4-Day Delivery and embark on an unforgettable journey from the charming port of Genoa, Italy, to the historic city of Valletta, Malta, aboard our sleek and powerful Volvo 65 sailboat.

These trips are for everyone, whether you are a novice or an experienced sailor. The crew consists of professional sailors from our team who have extensive experience with the VO65 and will instruct you on the boat, including international professional sailors and some customers. The entire crew will be divided into shifts at the beginning, meaning they will sleep and sail on deck in shifts. Life jackets with AIS transponders are available on the boat.

Over the 4 days, you will have the opportunity to helm, trim, practice evolutions, passage plan and weather route. You will be put on a watch system with an experienced watch leader and get a true offshore passage experience.

Don’t think this will be a luxury ride! Such a high-performance racing yacht does not come with many creature comforts. Cramped quarters, freeze-dried food and basic accommodation are the trade-off for a fast boat, many miles and the most exhilarating ride. We do it just as the elite ocean racers do so you truly get a genuine experience.

Volvo 65 Sisi

Volvo 65 Sisi is the boat of the Austrian Ocean Race Project, a young and ambitious team of international sailors, with an Austrian core, united by their passion for big boat sailing. Their primary goal was to participate in the Ocean Race, for which they purchased the former Vestas 11th Hour Racing, a Volvo 65 that had already competed in the Volvo Ocean Race twice. They started the project in 2019. From then on, Sisi and the team participated in several regattas and races and the Ocean Race Europe in 2021. From 2023, Austrian Ocean Racing is powered by Team Genova. They have participated in the world-famous Ocean Race VO65 Sprint 2023. This is the first time a team from Austria, with a boat under an Austrian-Italian flag, has participated in this famous event.

Since then, for all those who want to take part in this adventure, there is the possibility to join races, deliveries and open trial days. Apart from a few exceptions, Sisi is only available for races to entire crews (Whole Boat Charter). Deliveries are open to everyone.
